Anyone with a desire to make money from home should recognize the importance of design to both your website and the emails which you utilize to market your website. As such, it is essential that you utilize the right design when both creating your website, and your email marketing campaign. In other words, not only are the content of your emails and website what influence customers to make a decision to buy, but also the design of each. An attractive design will further enhance your ability to make money from home.
When it comes to online business, your first impression is extremely important. Just think about it for a moment. Those with whom we interact do not have the opportunity of meeting us face to face, and therefore cannot assess our body language, or any other factor which influences our perception of an individual. Thus, when we communicate with our online market via email and through our website, we are limited to perception, and confined communication. As such, we must place a great deal into design. This goes for both our email and our website. Of course, there are a couple of ways to come up with a great design. One is to invest in a professional web designer. Such a professional create a design per our specifications. However, not everyone has the budget to take on such an expenditure. This is not a problem. There are thousands of extremely well designed email templates on the internet which can be purchased for next to nothing. Furthermore, we live in an era in which Content Management Systems such as Joomla and WordPress have made it possible for individuals with very rudimentary online skills to create amazing websites. This is done by simply purchasing a professionally designed Joomla or WordPress template, and adding the content. The total cost of such a project should be less than $50.
When it comes to email marketing, it has evolved quit a bit since the late 1990′s. Back in those days, people did not receive very many emails. Therefore, it was almost like opening a gift when you were about to open a new email. Back then, you could go for an entire day without receiving a single email. Consequently, individuals back then were anxious to give their inbox some company, and would readily sign up to receive marketing emails. When those emails were received, they would not only be opened, but read from top to bottom. Fast forward to the current day. It is difficult to go for an entire hour without receiving some sort of email message. Needless to day, people are not as excited to receive emails as they were in the past.
Today, email marketers must take steps to set themselves apart from their rivals. The subject line of emails should be personalized with the name of the recipient as auto-responders have given us to ability to do this. Such measures make the reader feel as though you are emailing them personally, which thus compels them to open your email. As soon as the email has been opened, your design should not only capture the reader’s attention, but also make it clear to the reader what you want them to do next. Of course, what you want them to do next is venture over to your website where they will be presented with your offer.
Once on your website, your visitor should not be left guessing what they should do next. The design should be such that it is easy to navigate, and there is a clear “call to action”. The images on your website should invoke an emotional response from your niche market. The content should clearly demonstrate to your niche why they should take you up on your offer. More specifically, it should be absolutely clear what is in it for them if they do. One of the most powerful means of conveying this, is by utilizing verifiable third party testimonials. Take someone who was in the position of your visitors, and by taking advantage of your offer, achieved the results which are sought by your visitors. Just remember that your emails are like a flyer for your business, and your website is your store front. If you put a solid effort into the two of these, you will greatly increase your ability to make money from home.
If it is your goal to Make Money From Home, you have to figure out what it is that triggers a buyer to make a purchase. Successful online marketers have learned how to Earn Money Online again and again by learning what works.
