Cheap Website Design – Reduce Overhead
Long gone are the days when only professionals could build a website. Even a mere five years ago it was almost impossible to design even a simple website without knowledge of HTML, FTP programs and scripting languages. Nowadays, cheap website design is not only available, but highly recommended and widely used.
Websites can provide information, sell products, collect information, entertain, help us communicate, and just about anything in between. Simple information only websites are cheaper to put together. Anything that needs memberships and passwords or payment processing is going to cost more.
Either way, though, the new template based websites are the way to go. Even large companies are learning that switching to these easy to use templates can save time and money. These template sites offer virtually any add on you can think of from very robust and fully functional shopping carts that can be set up in hours vs. The weeks it used to take when high level programming was required, all the way to RSS feeds and blogs.
An average site with about 10 pages, a fully functional shopping cart, blog, and emails can easily be done for less than $15.00 with many of these template programs, and there are still many standard features included for free such as autoresponders, downloadable products, video, etc.
If you don’t have the time to do this yourself you can hire one of their own programmers to do it all for you, frequently for only a few hundred dollars. To do the same site about five years ago would cost over $1,000 and months of time.
Aside from the money saving benefit, there’s another very important benefit: you will have total control over your site. This kind of control is impossible when you have a third party resource managing content and edits. By the time you ask an off site designer to make changes, the changes might be out of date by the time they’re done, and you still get stuck with an invoice to pay!
This accessibility is vital in a fast moving business world where virtually everything turns into a living document, not a stagnant page. Perhaps you sell candy and want to discount some chocolate covered strawberries for one afternoon. If you needed to wait three days to have a design company make this update, you’d be out of luck and lose all the possible sales.
If you happen to be using a third party to do all this for you, seriously consider saving some money and bringing all this in house. Find a template company online and transfer all your files over. This is really no more difficult than changing your DNS settings (the template companies have detailed instructions in the help and FAQ sections on how to do this).
You don’t need to be spending thousands of dollars every few months on keeping your site up, current and competitive. Check out alternatives on line. Cheap website design can save you a bundle.
Send your business to the next level and begin maximizing your reach to your target customers more efficiently with low cost website design. With the broad selection of website design packages, you will be able to meet your goals and objectives more quickly!
Quick Guide to Low Cost Search Engine Optimization
Businesses looking for low-cost options to market their goods and services should entertain a Search Engine Optimization program. Search Engine Optimization or SEO can be a low-cost option for attracting visitors to company websites and for converting readers into customers. Although high cost consultants are certainly available to perform these services, a well planned SEO project does not have to completely drain the cash coffers. Lower cost options are available.
Originally, many organizations posted web pages to serve as an on-line customer service representative. Clients could visit the page for answers to frequently asked questions and the company would avoid the personnel costs associated with handling these questions over the phone. Web pages though, can now be converted into powerful sales tools when they can reach customers who are researching a purchase. Building relationships with on-line prospects allows a company to position itself as a knowledgeable partner with potential consumers.
Moving the standard customer service web page over to a sales web page can result in having a full-time sales agent on line for your business. But how does a company go about setting up an SEO program? Consultants can help do this, but understanding what these consultants do can help make sure you don\’t pay too much for their services.
SEO -\”On-Page\” Optimization On-Page optimization is perhaps the most commonly available type of SEO assistance. However, setting up the page to attract traffic is a fairly small part of building a stream of internet traffic to your site. Still, this requires some degree of expertise and understanding of what language terms your current customers would use to find a business like yours. Using these terms within the headlines, title and text of your page then helps the search engines build confidence that your page is really about what the title says it is about.
Location information is also important – especially to smaller businesses or organizations providing service to specific geographic areas. Noting the city or town in which the company provides service can be useful in attracting traffic and in competing with larger companies.
\”Off-Page\” Optimization Search Engine Optimization processes that occur outside of your web page environment are termed \”off page\” efforts. Off page optimization centers on three essential methods for building links from other sites that point back to yours. The three primary methods are:
Blog Links Hard Page Links Article Links
Blogging on other sites and leaving a link back to yours is a common way to set back links, but it can consume a good deal of time. Asking others to set links on their sites that point back to you is the simple methodology of setting the hard page links. Links placed within the text and content of informative articles though, can really help build your on line reputation as well as drive traffic to your site. Search engines seem to like these links as well.
Composing articles and submitting them can of course take up quite a bit of time, so this might provide a good opportunity to engage a consultant. Consultants familiar with article construction techniques might be able to save quite a bit of time and the links established could attract a lot of web traffic.
Keeping Costs Low Keeping your SEO costs low is a matter of designing a program around your budget and using the assets you\’ve already established. Websites need not be difficult to construct nor are they expensive to host. Optimization efforts can then present your page to viewers at the point in the purchasing process where customers are seeking information.
Many consultants in the SEO field charge thousands of dollars per month to larger companies and then really only focus on the \”on page\” portion of the process. It is important to find a consultant that understands both the on page and off page elements and can construct a program to fit your budget. Tailoring the program to your business though, is essential as each organization has a unique product and service offering. By hiring consulting help only for the areas you requires assistance with can greatly reduce your costs and improve your ROI.

Write Articles for Your Online Success
Writing Articles can make your website explode with traffic. And in today\’s highly competitive internet universe; the importance of attracting highly targeted traffic to your website cannot be overemphasized.
Getting the right type of traffic to your online business can sometimes be the only way to survive.
Getting a high search engine ranking can be very difficult. Fortunately, there is plethora of website promotion strategies you can use to drive traffic to your website.
There is a wide variety of techniques that you can adapt to your advertising campaign. From paid advertizing (pay-per-click) or even to affiliate marketing. However, most of these require some sort of payment. Nevertheless, there are still plenty of ways that you can get your website known to the world and increase your traffic without spending a dime.
Writing articles is one of the best web site promotion strategies you can use, and it can be very effective. How, you may ask, can writing articles help improve your web traffic?
Here is a list of the top seven ways that it can help you get more traffic.
1. Reach more people
When you spend time writing an article, it would be an awful shame to not share it with readers. You can place your article on your website or you can submit it to popular sites like e-zines as well as other online publishers.
When submitting your website/blog or information page to an article directory, not only do you give more exposure to yourself, but you also provide free advertisement to your website. All that you have to do to take it to the next level is either provide a link back to your site, or provide more information about yourself in the resource box.
Publish your article to the popular article directories out there like all the e-zines. Take advantage of the opportunity that they give you. If other sites find the information in your article useful, then they will most likely link back to you and you will not only gain more traffic, but more links as well.
Remember, almost everyone who comes online to use a search engine is looking for some type of information. And if your article happens to provide them with this information, you will most likely benefit by getting more exposure to your site.
2. Free Advertising
Submitting your articles to other websites presents an opportunity to advertise your website without paying exorbitant fees. Although you should avoid marketing language in your articles and make it informative and useful to your readers, you can always include your site\’s link in the resource box.
In addition, by making your article relevant and helpful to your readers, you are making a good impression for your website, which could ultimately lead to a visit and hopefully a purchase.
If you have good quality content in the body of your article, that is way more effective than a few lines of ad space. Remember that you have a very special opportunity to presale your website for free to a prospective customer. So don\’t drive them away, give them what they are looking for in your article…information.
3. High Search Engine Ranking For Your Website
Make a brand new page on your site and place your article there. Make sure that your article is fully optimized. Take care that you use the best keywords that go with your niche so that your website can achieve high search engine rankings. As soon as you upload your new page to your server, search engines will send a spider to it.
Remember that if your content is SEO friendly then you are more likely to get a higher ranking in the search engines.
4. Increases Link Popularity
Rather than spending countless hours searching for other sites to link back to your page, you can simply write and article and include a link to your site in the resource box.
When these websites pick up and publishes your article, you automatically get a link partner.
Always try to grow your website with more links. Backlinks is one of the factors used by search engines to determine your websites rankings, so the more you have, the better. So make sure that your article is especially interesting, that way more sites will be compelled to link to it from their site.
5. Optimizes your site for improved search engine ranking
Ensure that your site is full of keywords relating to your topic. Do not forget that keywords are one of the most important things that search engines use to determine your ranking in a search result.
Provide useful information on your website and avoid the temptation of using way too many keywords as a way to gain high rankings. The only thing that will happen if you stuff your site with keywords is that the people who you are trying to get to buy or take action on your site will be turned off.
Relevance and quality is still the most important things to consider when writing articles and it will be doubly useful to your site if you make these articles search-engine optimized.
6. Provides a Great Reputation as well as Good Impression
By writing excellent, original and relevant articles, you not only give your site exposure, you are also creating a good impression on your prospects.
Encourage more people to visit your site and do business with you by establishing an impressive reputation through your articles. Be seen as an expert in the field and you will ultimately gain more customers eager to do business with you.
7. Upgrades your credibility with references as well as personal testimonies
Certainly, your articles are going to receive feedbacks and testimonies when you publish them in e-zines and free article sites. Record these positive feedbacks and comments and use them as promotional material in your website or in any of your advertising efforts.
Your reputation can only be assisted in your favor by the positive comments. They will only impress future and current customers. In today\’s economy, credibility is the key to interest new customers or to make existing patrons loyal to your business alone.
Relevant and original content in articles are fundamental keys in exploding the importance of your website. Remember that writing articles is one of the best and FREE ways to market your site.
See an Article Directory for yourself and post an article for your website, or perhaps you\’d like to Read Articles and find information for a certain niche.

Advertising for Lawyers: Using Multiple Calls to Action on Your Website
Websites, when done properly, can be very effective advertising for lawyers. Today I will focus on why you need multiple calls to action on your law firm\’s website.
When advertising for lawyers on the web, be sure to use multiple calls to action: Different people respond to different stimuli
When we construct a webpage, it is difficult to know how other people will respond to the layout. What might appeal to you does not appeal to others and vice versa. This is why it is important to provide multiple ways for individuals to contact your firm.
For example, if I am offering a relevant e-book to prospects, I should post a graphic that is a professional looking picture of the book which links to a download page. In addition, underneath the graphic should be text that a user could click on leading to the same download page. This way I am capturing users that the graphic appeals to as well as others that the text link appeals to.
Another idea is to display your phone number, an offer such as a free case evaluation, and a picture with the same offer on more than just the contact us page of your website. This way a prospect that wants to speak with a lawyer right now can do so. Often potential clients will be at different stages of the process, by providing different methods of contacting you, more site visitors will convert to prospects.
\”I get how advertising for lawyers works…..they can get a hold of me on my contact page!\”
Although you should have a contact page which contains all of your relevant information on it, you also need to offer your site visitors a reason to get a hold of you. Think what\’s in it for them. WHY should they contact you? When you offer them legitimate reasons such as a free e-book or free consultation, then you are appealing to the reasons they WANT to contact you.
By implementing these ideas on your website, you will see how effective advertising for lawyers through the web can be.

Website Design What To Do First
In the matter of website design what to do first, a person who is contemplating starting a website or some sort of blog and who thinks that he or she might like to take a crack at designing it needs to keep a few things in mind. First of all, anyone interested in designing a website should sit down and come up with a plan or a concept for what it should look like.
This means, of course, that no small amount of research is going to need to be done beforehand. What is meant by research is the fact that a person will need to correctly identify the market or niche that the website is going to be targeted at. Eventually designing a site that gives the viewer or reader the impression that it is about bicycles when it is really about motorcycles is just one example of intelligent website design.
Along with deciding or determining the kind of niche that the website will be targeted at should be a realization that the site must, above all else, be usable and logical to any visitor or reader who happens to land there. This can create a bit of tension between the desire to make the website look space-age or really relevant, graphics wise, and the need to also be functional and easy to maneuver around.
Those who fail to realize this simple requirement (usability) tend to have websites designed that require multiple plug-ins or that end up taking a really long time to load on a user\’s computer because they are extremely heavy with graphics that cause images to load very slowly. Studies show that most viewers of a website will quickly move on if they have any sort of issue viewing that site.
This is why it is important to do the research, identify the market or niche, and then — first of all — design the site so that it is extremely usable. Most experts recommend that websites should try to make use of black text on white backgrounds if possible. If a background is desired, designers should also try to use a plain-color background or go with something that is very subtle.
This is why it will be vital to make sure that the text itself is in a printable color, meaning that while white text on a black background looks good, if it doesn\’t print in some other color other than white they\’re going to be many user complaints or visits to the website will quickly drop off.
In the end, the matters of website design what to do first come down to research and then usability. Conduct your research to make sure that you are coming up with a thoughtful and relevant website and then make that website extremely easy to use when visitors arrive there.

Keys To Copywriting Creativity
Let\’s talk basics and then figure out how to make them better. That way, whether you are just starting to lean about copywriting or you\’ve been at it a while but for some weird reason your boss is making you read this, then everyone can still come away with something useful. What we want is for you to be able to make a good impression with your copywriting. It\’s not too hard.
Personality is required. Just because you\’re writing for a business, doesn\’t mean that the information should be doled out in a passive and boring voice. Instead of, \”It\’s been said that dogs can be great companions,\” say \”Dogs make great companions.\” It\’s more direct and active. Likewise, choose a tone to suit the occasion. If you\’re writing for a children\’s audience, word choice will be more basic and more playful than when writing for an adult audience. You could win a child\’s attention by saying, \”Doggies love to sniff around the yard on an adventure filled with digging up treats, so be sneaky when you hide them.\” An adult would respond better to, \”Dogs need challenge and adventure. Consider hiding toys and treats around the yard. A busy dog is a happy pet.\”
Story is important. Just because you\’re not writing the next great American novel, you still need to consider the story. What stands out about what you\’re selling? Getting specific about a product or service will tug at the reader\’s emotions. Staying with the dog example, which of these bits of copy is richer and more enticing? Example A: Do you love dogs? We\’ve got a great one with a nice personality right here. It\’s a puppy and puppies are irresistible. Or Example B: Do you love little pink paws, tickly whiskers, and companionship only Man\’s best friend can provide? Murphy already knows how to sit and he\’s waiting for a loving owner to impress with his obedience and charm. Of course example B is better, and that\’s because now we know Murphy and we\’ve engaged with his personality and his plight. That\’s story. The more Story you can incorporate into copywriting, the better it will be.
Now add in some pressure to act. When copywriting is good, it causes the reader to buy the product or service. No doubt you\’ve seen ads that say, \”Supplies won\’t last!\” and \”Call now, before it\’s too late!\” This is a copywriter who is trying to get a reader to feel \”need.\” It\’s also not very creative copy, but it does work. What also works and is creative in it\’s subtlety, is what you want to strive for. For our cat example, avoid copy like, \”Our cats go fast.\” Instead, try something more specific like, \”Only 3 kittens still need homes.\”
Good copywriters also use a strategy called offering proof, or \”social proof.\” We\’ve all heard those commercials where 2 out of 3 professionals agree that product X will make us feel happy and safe and rich and beautiful. There really is strength in numbers. People want to know a product is working before they buy it. Another version of social proof is the testimonial. In this scenario it not a professional that gives the product use authority, but a consumer. And when the copywriter gives specific information about that consumer, who looks and talks just like the rest of us, then it leaves a stronger influence on the reader. This is why often a name and geographic location are included.
Remember these principles when you begin your copywriting projects, and you\’ll be off to a great start. The more you practice these strategies, the better you\’ll become. The more you can stretch these ideas and expand on them, the more groundbreaking your writing will be. And the more powerful the writing, the greater the number of sales!
