If you judge by some of the comments submitted to the local newspaper after the university’s logo change, you might think that it is poor business to ever consider doing so. However, I really disagree with this sentiment and as an employee of a marketing communications agency that is in the practice of designing said logos, I would like to note that the paper neglected some important details when covering the outcry to this change.
